Episode five – Architecture in Birmingham
Dr Paul Long
Paul Long is an author, researcher and senior lecturer in media theory at Birmingham City University. In 2004 he wrote an article with David Parker called “Mistakes of the Past? Visual Narratives of Urban Decline and Regeneration” which critically analysed the onoging development of Birmingham city centre.
Roger Shannon
Roger Shannon is a Birmingham based film producer. His Birmingham company, Swish, develops new film projects and participates in the cultural life of the region via the acclaimed Lower Eastside Dialogues.
Dr Noha Nasser
Noha Nasser is a senior lecturer in Architecture, and Course Director of the Masters programme in urban design at Birmingham School of Architecture, Birmingham City University. She sits on numerous regional bodies, including Regional Council Member of Arts Council West Midlands, member of the Executive Board for Urban Land Institute in Birmingham, as well as the North Staffordshire and West Midlands Design Review Panels.
